ALC panels are more energy-efficient than autoclaved aerated concrete blocks in production, and ALC panels do not have radioactivity, do not emit harmful gases, do not contain asbestos and other harmful substances to human body, do not produce harmful and toxic substances in production process, will not cause pollution to the environment, and have better environmental performance, which is a green and environmentally friendly material. 2
ALC board is an inorganic material that is not flammable and has excellent fire resistance. When used as a wall panel, the fire resistance of a 100mm thick ALC board is 3.6 hours, and the fire resistance of a 150mm thick ALC board is no less than 4 hours, both of which meet the first-class fire resistance grade. Because ALC board is an inorganic material and is supported by a double-layer bidirectional steel mesh network inside, it has good chemical and volume stability under fire or high temperature conditions and is less likely to collapse in a large area. However, ordinary steam-pressure aerated concrete blocks do not have a 3

Lightweight and High-Strength
ALC panels have a strength grade and a specific gravity ranging from 425 to 625 kg/m3 in the dry state, while the specific gravity of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks is between 750 and 850 kg/m3. The overall specific gravity of ALC panels is significantly lower than that of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, making the completed wall lighter than the block wall. This can significantly reduce the floor load value of the structure. In addition, steel mesh is added to the ALC panel, making the wall's overall stability and strength higher than that of the block wall.
1. Using ALC panels as internal partitions has better sound insulation, fire resistance, durability, and earthquake resistance than using autoclaved aerated concrete blocks. Under the same conditions, the wall thickness can be reduced by about 4%, and the indoor usable area can be increased by about 4%.
2. Using ALC panels with a light weight and thin thickness can reduce the wall load by about 1/3 to 1/2 compared to using autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, thereby reducing the structural cost of the building.
3. Using ALC panels only requires hanging the net and plastering at the interface of different surfaces, which can reduce the decoration cost by about 8% on average compared to using autoclaved aerated concrete blocks. However, the installation quality requirements are relatively higher, and the wall verticality must be controlled within 0-1mm.
4. Using ALC panels as wall materials can eliminate the need for construction columns and other procedures, and the construction period can be shortened by about half. 5. Using ALC panels does not require extensive plastering, so the decorative surface of the wall has no noticeable signs of hollowness, cracks, etc. However, the decorative surface of the steam-pressure autoclaved aerated concrete block wall is affected by various factors and has certain quality defects.
6. ALC panels are national energy-saving materials that have an advantage in energy calculations. The wall insulation and wall service life can reach the same lifecycle as the building, making it an ideal green and environmentally friendly material.
