小功率雕刻機(jī)指的是雕刻電機(jī)功率較小的雕刻機(jī)（一般 70-220W），由于其硅酸鈣雕刻電機(jī)功率較小，每次只能應(yīng)用于切削面較少的精細(xì)加工。比如：胸牌、沙盤模型、工藝品表面加工等。這類雕刻機(jī)無法進(jìn)行大功率雕刻和切割。大功率雕刻機(jī)是指雕刻電機(jī)功率在 700W以上的雕刻機(jī)。這類雕刻機(jī)不僅可以進(jìn)行小功率雕刻，還可以進(jìn)行大功率雕刻。比如：制作水晶字、各類廣告標(biāo)牌、硅酸鈣板纖維水泥板板材的不規(guī)則下料成型、人造石材的加工等。因為其功率大，所以一次可以切下 30mm厚的纖維水泥板雕刻機(jī)或者用成型刀進(jìn)行大功率成型硅酸鈣板雕刻機(jī)。
